PlasticSole Presents: WARREN T
PlasticSole Presents: WARREN T
Your Essential Boxing Day Soundtrack. The Kinetic Truth of the Post-Gift Reckoning.
The Inevitable Post-Yule Fever Dream.
The inevitable, almost ceremonial, post-Yule fever dream finds its kinetic anthem in “Warren T,” a genuinely singular output designed to accompany the frantic Boxing Day 2026 search for product documentation and receipts. It's a sly, two-fingered salute to seasonal consumerism, continuing the excellent tradition initiated by last year's festive chaos. The complex soundscape is the product of the minds of Jamie Blackman and Simon Brindle. This track is built upon a raw, spontaneous vocal improvisation recorded over a decade ago. Simon recently stumbled across this original, one-take audio artifact and transformed the layered rhythms and vocalisations into this fully realized, kinetic studio track.
Furthermore, the accompanying B-side, an acoustic cover of Radiohead's "Creep," offers a spectral echo from the band's 2007 past, showcasing the casual, yet authentic, jamming core of the collective. Securing your pre-save is absolutely necessary for the immediate, chronological ingestion of this specific, crucial holiday material. Do not miss this essential dose of indie pop chaos.

PlasticSole's New Single: YARD RAT BOYS
PlasticSole's New Single:
YARD RAT BOYS
The noise where Hard Rock slams into authentic Indie Pop. It's here.
The Noise Has Arrived
Cover Image: Captured by Drummer Steven Brindle, Milton Keynes, April 2024.
PlasticSole, the band that mixes proper indie pop with massive hard rock, is dropping the new single, Yard Rat Boys. It’s a blitz of noise and a pure statement of style and attitude. Get ready for the chorus that sticks: "Sound off, sound off, the Yard Rat Boys / Smash it, grab it, loot it, steal".
The cover art tells the story. Drummer Steven Brindle shot this vision, a knot of silhouettes against the urban decay of the old Wolverton Railway Yard buildings, just before the track's live debut at The Craufurd Arms. This image, a perfect sign of the times, immediately became the visual signature for the new single; it couldn't have been anything else. The song's swagger is fully captured in that striking monochrome photograph.

"Billionaires & Presidents" by The Sextion (a sub-division of PlasticSole) - A Rapid-Fire Commentary on Power
"Billionaires & Presidents" is a cynical and critical commentary by The Sextion (a sub-division of PlasticSole) on the close, often corrupt, relationship between powerful political figures (Presidents) and wealthy individuals (Billionaires and Oligarchs). The track implies a system where these elites mutually benefit at the expense of ordinary people.
What makes this track even more remarkable is its spontaneous creation. It was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered in an astonishing four hours! The spark ignited at 11:00 AM during a rehearsal setup for an upcoming evening gig at the Amersham Arms in London on September 6th.
Our bass player and drummer started jamming the verse and chorus, and in a simultaneous moment of inspiration, both declared, "Let's ditch the rehearsal, let's record and release that today instead!" By 3:00 PM, the track was complete, a raw and immediate expression of political frustration.

Navigating the Noise: A Musician's Essential Guide to Spotting Legitimate Music Promotion
Navigating the Noise: Musician's Essential Guide to Music Promotion
Hey fellow artists, we all know the dream: pouring our heart and soul into creating music, then watching it connect with listeners around the world. But in today's crowded digital landscape, getting your tracks heard can feel like shouting into a hurricane. The internet is buzzing with companies promising to boost your streams, get you on playlists, and make you the next big thing. It's exciting, but also incredibly confusing — and sometimes, downright risky.
Many of us have been approached by services that sound too good to be true. They promise millions of streams, guaranteed placements, and rapid growth. But how do you tell the difference between a genuine opportunity and a potential pitfall that could waste your hard-earned money or even harm your career?
That's why we've put together a comprehensive guide: "Assessment of a Music Promotion Offer: Validity, Risks, and Strategic Recommendations." This document is designed to help you navigate the murky waters of music promotion, understand what real, sustainable growth looks like, and identify the red flags that signal a deceptive service.
In this essential guide, you'll learn about:
- The Illusion of "Guaranteed Results"
Why promises of specific stream counts or placements are often a major warning sign and can violate streaming platform policies. - Understanding Streaming Algorithms
How platforms like Spotify actually work, and what metrics (like saves, repeat listens, and low skip rates) truly matter for organic growth, far beyond just raw stream numbers. - Identifying Red Flags
Common signs of illegitimate promotion services, including lack of transparency, suspicious data patterns, and ambiguous contracts. - The Real Risks
How engaging with non-compliant services can lead to severe penalties, including withheld royalties, content removal, or even account suspension. - Legitimate Alternatives
Strategies for building a genuine fanbase through authentic engagement, targeted advertising, and reputable pitching platforms.
This isn't just about avoiding scams; it's about empowering you to make informed decisions that genuinely contribute to your long-term success as an artist. Your music deserves to be heard by real fans, and your efforts should build a sustainable career, not just fleeting, artificial numbers.
Don't let the hype mislead you. Take a moment to equip yourself with the knowledge you need to protect your art and your future.
No strings attached for the info – just hoping it helps you out! If you find them useful, streams and a follow for the band, PlasticSole, on Spotify would be genuinely appreciated. 🙏
